The Hardness Tester is an advanced video overlay generator that enables the user to accurately measure hardness by means of either the Brinell or the Vickers method.

  • The user can set ball diameters and weights.

  • The calculated hardness number is directly read out on the screen.

  • Up to 8 objective lens calibrations can be specified from the keyboard.

  • A remote tracker ball Part S279 can also be used for moving the crosswires.

  • The Hardness Tester has an integral Mitutoyo interface, allowing connection to Mitutoyo products

The display shows the load used in the test, the X and Y distance across the indent and the result of the test.
